Elegant Events Catering Inc. will use only the finest and freshest meats, cheeses, breads and produce available and all items are prepared fresh for your event. Your discriminating palate will surely recognize the outstanding quality of our food. Our presentation will be beautiful and our staff will be professional, friendly and unpretentious.
We appreciate as much notice as possible when placing your order, but will do everything we can to fill your last minute orders. You may order via email or phone.
Service Charges and Delivery Fees
18% service charge includes: attractive and upscale disposable plates and utensils, delivery of food, chafing dishes and serving utensils, tablecloth for buffet, set-up of buffet and return for clean up service. For boxed lunches or any “drop and go” orders not requiring full service and return for pickup, the 18% service charge will be waived in place of a $25.00 local area delivery charge. Any delivery farther than 20 miles round trip of our kitchen will have a $35.00 delivery charge.
Late Night and Early AM deliveries may be subject to additional charges.
Certain large events may be quoted with china or upscale disposable service as well as all labor included within the service charge for ease of calculation to our customer. This service charge is not a gratuity.
Sales Tax – 9.25%
State required sales tax on all hot catered food and service.
Gratuities for Corporate lunch/breakfast service are not accepted. Gratuities for large functions should be based upon our performance. They are very much appreciated by the staff for recognition of a job well done. Unless otherwise delineated, 18% service charge is a fee for staffing, linen and decorations for your buffet, included rental fees including but not limited to chafing dishes and serving utensils, tables and chairs, china and linen, elegant disposable plates, cutlery and napkins, event coordination, site inspection and delivery.
For Weddings and similar large functions, Elegant Events Catering Inc. requires a $500.00 deposit. Deposits may be made with your Visa, Master Card or American Express charge card. Final payments must be made with a personal check, corporate check, money order or cash. Established daily catering corporate customers may be billed with a 15-day net.
For daily corporate breakfast and lunch catering under 50 guests, we require a 24-hour cancellation policy as all food and pre-prep has been purchased and performed. For corporate appetizer events, breakfasts and lunches larger than 50 guests, weddings and similarly large or intensive functions, if cancellation occurs before 90 days prior to the date of the event, then you will receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations made after 90 days, up to 31 days prior to the event will result in a 50% refund of the total deposit. Cancellations occurring after 30 days prior to the event will forfeit 100% of the total deposit, as short notice booking of the available date is unlikely. Final guest count and final payment for event is due in our office no later than seven days before event.
